Swipesift helps you review and clean your photo library. We request photo library access only for the app features you choose to use.
Photos and Videos
Your photo and video content is processed on your device. Swipesift does not upload your photos or videos to our servers, Firebase, or any other third-party service.
- The app reads media and related metadata needed to display, sort, scan, organize, and delete the items you choose.
- Photo library changes happen through Apple's Photos framework and require your confirmation where iOS provides a confirmation prompt.
Information Stored on Your Device
Swipesift stores app preferences, onboarding status, cleanup counters, cached app configuration, and scan or session state locally on your device. These records do not contain copies of your photos or videos. A device-scoped cleanup-limit counter may be stored in the iOS Keychain and can remain after reinstalling the app.
Analytics and Diagnostics
- Firebase Analytics receives product interaction events and technical app or device context used to understand feature usage. Swipesift does not set an account user ID and does not use IDFA for advertising tracking, although Firebase may create pseudonymous app-instance identifiers.
- Firebase Crashlytics receives crash reports and related technical diagnostics used to improve reliability.
- AppsFlyer receives app launches and advertising conversion events so we can measure campaign effectiveness. Events may include paywall views, checkout starts, trial starts, subscriptions, product identifiers, price, currency, and a one-way hashed transaction identifier. AppsFlyer may also receive technical attribution context such as app version, operating system version, IP address, IDFV, and an AppsFlyer-generated identifier. AppsFlyer does not receive your photos, videos, or payment card information from Swipesift.
- StoreKit and the App Store process purchases, subscriptions, and restorations. Apple handles payment information.
Data Sharing
We do not sell personal data or share data for personalized advertising. Information is shared only with the service providers described below as needed for product analytics, crash reporting, subscription operations, and measurement of Swipesift advertising campaigns.
Third-Party Services
- Firebase Analytics is used for aggregated, non-advertising product analytics. Read the Google Privacy Policy.
- Firebase Crashlytics is used to collect crash diagnostics and improve app reliability. Read the Google Privacy Policy.
- AppsFlyer is used to measure app installs and subscription conversions associated with Swipesift advertising campaigns and may share eligible conversion postbacks with advertising partners configured by us, such as Meta. Swipesift uses the AppsFlyer Strict SDK, which does not include AdSupport or collect IDFA. Swipesift does not display third-party advertising. Read the AppsFlyer Privacy Policy.
- StoreKit and the App Store are used to process subscriptions and restore purchases. Read the Apple Privacy Policy.
Swipesift does not use third-party SDKs for personalized advertising, does not use IDFA for ad tracking, and does not request permission through Apple's App Tracking Transparency framework.
Retention and Your Choices
- Local app data remains on your device until it is cleared by the app, reset through an available app control, or removed with the app. A Keychain counter may remain after reinstalling as described above.
- Firebase, AppsFlyer, configured advertising partners, and Apple retain service data according to their policies and the applicable service configuration.
- You can change or revoke photo library access at any time in iOS Settings.
- You can contact us to ask a privacy question or request deletion of data that we can reasonably identify and control.
